Starting Your Journey Towards Satisfactory and Comfortable Speech

Starting your journey with us means embarking on a partnership that understands your goals and aspirations. We work closely with you to grasp your unique needs, concerns, and emotional readiness. Through open conversations, we explore how stuttering has impacted your life and develop a plan that aligns with your availability and aspirations.

Interventions for stuttering are often a long-term process, involving changes in speech, but also in thoughts and behaviours. However, even after one session, positive effects can be experienced. Our commitment is evident from the very start. Our initial meeting helps us understand your speech patterns and personal needs. By the end of this first session, you'll have at least one actionable goal and resources to help you in your transformation. We will also encourage you to join communities of people who stutter and will suggest resources that will empower you in your journey.

Our Online Telehealth Services: Making Services Accessible

We are dedicated to making our services accessible to all, no matter their location or circumstances no matter if they speak French or English. Online telehealth services for stuttering therapy have been proven to be as effective as in-person therapy by scientific studies. We understand that many families may face challenges in accessing speech-language pathology services, such as those in remote First Nations communities, small towns, isolated cities or distant villages. Our commitment to online services enables us to bridge this gap and offer effective therapy to those in need.

Moreover, online therapy opens up exciting creative possibilities. We utilize digital arts to create engaging posters, cartoons, and videos that resonate with teenagers and young adults, making therapy sessions not only effective but enjoyable.

For adults, our expertise extends to using technology to aid your everyday practice. We integrate text reminders, voice messages, and curated podcast recommendations into your therapy, facilitating consistent progress even between sessions. Additionally, we sometimes use Discord and Zoom meetings for group support meeting or group therapy sessions.
